What You Can Expect from Tom

The needs of the client come first.” As a Texas family law attorney, Tom is a passionate and tireless advocate for his clients. He is an accomplished litigator and a skilled negotiator. Tom will carefully listen to you to identify your goals and needs. With those goals and needs in mind, he will craft a litigation plan and follow it aggressively. If needed, he will also help you create a financial plan so that you can prepare for life after your case is finalized.

His conflict resolution plan has five phases. First, identify the client’s objectives. Next, gather the information needed to reach those objectives. Third, develop a settlement idea with the client and send it to the other party in the case. If informal settlement does not resolve all issues, the fourth phase is to try to resolve the case through formal mediation, which will result in resolution in nearly every case. If the case cannot be solved informally, or at mediation, then Tom takes the case to trial.
