Tom became a member of the State Bar of Texas in 2007. He practices exclusively in the area of Texas family law. Prior to practicing family law in Texas, Tom spent 20 years in the financial services industry where he helped clients sort through complex agreements and financial scenarios.

Tom actively follows changes and developments in the Texas Family Code and related areas of law and maintains a web site dedicated to tracking how those changes affect Texas families and children.
